I am Nicola Willis
I want to give you an idea of the ethos of my company.
This is important because the Aesthetics Industry is exploding and the choices now available are bewildering. I hear from many of my clients, when they first come to me, that knowing where to go, or who to go to, more to the point, is the big issue. There are thousands of ‘practitioners’ out there. Long awaited changes to the law have now made it illegal for anyone other than a doctor, a dentist or a nurse prescriber to administer botulinum toxin. A recent Government report has recommended a similar level of competence to administer dermal fillers. This, however, although extremely important, is only part of the issue for clients deciding on who is best to treat them, because not everyone is good at it, basically.
No wonder it can be difficult to choose.
So I’ll start by telling you why I do this and why you should choose me.

I am a Consultant in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine.
I know this makes my clients feel safe. I have done aesthetic medicine now for 9 years. Although it has to be said, I have seen some old timers make an absolute mess of people’s faces. Experience without skill and vision can be a recipe for disaster.
I know what to do in the unlikely event of a complication.
I paint. I sculpt.
It is about an ability to see and a skill to shape things the way I see them. It is the single most relaxing thing I do. I apply this skill to the face I see before me and it is an utter joy to do.
I know the anatomy of the face.
I am determined to have available all of the latest tools for skin rejuvenation.
I purchased the first FRACTORA machine in Scotland, for example, and present internationally about its innovative use. I am the only person offering FaceTite no-knife facelift in Scotland, with results that are positively life-changing.
I am constantly updating my skills to keep at the front of the profession.
I treat myself.
The most useful piece of advice I could give you is to look very carefully at your practitioner. If they look weird, walk away. I’m fairly confident you won’t do that here.
I am 52, for me life just gets better.
Introducing the clinic
Bespoke, boutique, unique
Dr Nicola Willis’ clinic is a Practice like no other. Situated in an elegant Arts and Crafts House in Troon, on Scotland’s west coast, it offers the charm of open fires and a very warm welcome. The building reflects the warm personality of its owner, rich colours and textures, unexpected treasures.
In the clinic rooms, every necessary tool is available for advanced clinical skin rejuvenation. This is clearly a doctor-led practice, equipped with a minor-procedure theatre and the meticulous attention to safety, confidentiality and clinical excellence demanded by a Consultant clinician. The Clinic is fully registered and regulated by Health Improvement Scotland.
